Already in 2010, his three-year-old half-sister Imaginary Saint by Saint Liam became stakes-placed in her fourth start lifetime. His dam Imaginary Cat has now produced four stakes horses, two of which are graded.

August 2, 2010. Cause to Believe bred 70 mares in 2010, with at least 85% pronounced in foal to date. The Cause to Believe Syndicate and Road’s End Farm would like to thank all those who supported Cause to Believe this year. The quality and suitability of the mares was extremely impressive as well.

May 20, 2010. Syndicate members of Cause to Believe are very pleased with the number of mares booked and bred to Cause to Believe. To date, he has bred 60 mares, and there are still several more to come. Last year he didn’t retire from racing until partway through April, and therefore his foal crop is fairly small this year. Next year will be a different story!

May 1st, 2010. Congratulations to SUPER SAVER by Maria’s Mon, winner of the Kentucky Derby by 2 ½ lengths. Maria’s Mon is now sire of two Kentucky Derby winners (MONARCHOS IN 2001). Calvin Borel rode a masterful race in the slop on the second choice in a field of 20. SUPER SAVER is out of an A.P. Indy mare which is a full sister to multiple grade 1 winners, and full sister to the dam of BLUEGRASS CAT, second in the Kentucky Derby the year Cause to Believe ran.

April 23, 2010Armstrong Mill, Cause to Believe’s graded stakes-placed half-brother by Dynaformer, won a 1 3/16 miles allowance on turf at Keeneland to bring his earnings to $74,100.
