Breeders in the Pacific Northwest have rarely had the chance to breed to a stallion with Cause to Believe’s qualities. A graded stakes winner of $427,643, he is by outcross Maria’s Mon, out of a Storm Cat mare.
Cause to Believe is by Champion Two-Year-Old Maria’s Mon, a sire of eight G1 stakes winners to date including Kentucky Derby winners Monarchos and Super Saver, and Champion Wait a While. Cause to Believe is out of a beautiful Overbrook female family.
Cause to Believe retired from racing in April of 2009. He bred a select group of mares from April to June of 2009, and has bred exceptional books in 2010 and 2011.
Cause to Believe stands at Road’s End Farm, where Jack and Pat Bennett have stood many successful stallions for several years. He is standing for an introductory fee of $2,000 and some shares are available.
